Pokémon Go: Rivals' Week Event Guide

Pokémon trainers are always striving to be the very best and that involves finding worthy rivals to test their skills. Pokémon Go is celebrating the power of friendly competition with its first Rivals' Week event, which runs from 10 a.m. April 13 to 8 p.m. April 18. New Pokémon in Pokémon Go Rivals' Week

This event introduces the Mock Kelp Pokémon Skrelp and the Water Gun Pokémon Clauncher to Pokémon Go, where they'll be appearing in the wild, raids, and Field Research encounters. Their evolutions, Dragalge and Clawitzer, will also be available for the first time. This will also be the first time you can fight the Abundance Pokémon Therian Forme Landorus in five-star raids.

Field Research during Pokémon Go Rivals' Week

  • Catch three Fighting-type Pokémon for one Revive, two Hyper Potions, or three Super Potions.
  • Catch six Fighting-type Pokémon for an encounter with Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee.
  • Catch 15 Fighting-type Pokémon for an encounter with Seviper or Zangoose.
  • Win a raid for an encounter with Clauncher or Skrelp.
  • Win in the GO Battle League for 20 Lopunny Mega Energy.

Other bonuses during Pokémon Go Rivals' Week

Team GO Rocket will be appearing more often at PokéStops and in air balloons. Trainers will also be able to compete in the Global Challenge Arena. Once 40 million raids are completed, all trainers earn double Stardust from catching Pokémon for the duration of the event.
