Monster Hunter Rise: Bunny Dango guide

While playing Monster Hunter Rise, you may have noticed that the locals seem to adore their hometown specialty, Bunny Dango. But did you know that Bunny Dango is actually based on Dango, the real-life Japanese dumpling made from rice flour? It's sometimes savory and sometimes sweet, but always chewy in the real world. In Monster Hunter Rise, however, eating Bunny Dango is more than a tasty snack — it is a necessary step in preparing for all of the dangerous monsters found around Kamura Village.

What is Bunny Dango and where can I eat it?

Bunny Dango is Kamura Village's trademark dish that provides health and stamina buffs, as well as defensive buffs. You can eat up to three Dango at a time, and each one has an effect that can be stacked with the other two. The drawback is that the effect only has a chance of actually activating. You see the change of that Dango effect listed by each Dango's name.

There's a Dango stand in Kamura village led by Yomogi the Chef. You'll be able to spot it easily, just look for the Palicoes mashing the rice flour. You can take a seat at any of the stands to place an order, but you can also place an order inside the Gathering Hub and even in your tent if you proceed to the hunt and forget to eat.

You can choose to pay with money or Kamura Points, and if you find that you're using a specific combination over and over again, you can actually save your order as a preset meal for the next hunt.

You'll also come across Dango Tickets, which can be obtained by using the Motley Mix option at the Canteen. Dango Tickets work like Meal Vouchers in Monster Hunter World – using a Dango Ticket will boost the Activation Rate of all skills by 40%, and with the lowest rate being at 50%, you should get all 3 skills easily.
