What you need to know

  • This new concept video shows how stunning the new iPhone 13 could be.
  • The concept imagines a new MagSafe Battery Pack that's color-matched to the new iPhone.

Apple is set to announce the iPhone 13 lineup this fall and a new concept shows us just how stunning the mid-range version could turn out to be.

Created by Over The Edge and shared with the ConceptsiPhone YouTube channel, the video shows us what we've come to expect from a new mid-range iPhone in 2021 — a smaller notch and redesigned camera layout. There's a very fetching orange color as well, but the star of the show might not be the iPhone at all, but rather the MagSafe Battery Pack that was recently announced.

Check it out!

Say hello to the smaller notch, the new camera that lets you take better photos. MagSafe Battery for on the go, with 1460mAh. On top of that, a larger battery lasts up to 1.5 times longer.

What makes this concept so great is the use of color on the MagSafe Battery Pack. Apple now sells this thing itself, but you can only get it in white. That's cool if you have a white iPhone, but not-so-cool if you don't. This concept imagines a colored band around the battery pack that would match the iPhone itself. And it looks pretty sweet!

Apple will likely announce new iPhones in September, but you don't have to wait that long to get a great handset. The current iPhone 12 lineup is still awesome, and you can bag an iPhone bargain right now. Not so sure about that MagSafe Battery Pack? There are tons of third-party MagSafe portable batteries to be had, too.
